The Big One
This is the full experience. A proper haircut followed by a traditional hot towel shave. It’s an hour of sitting back, switching off, and letting us do what we do best. You walk in needing a cut, you walk out feeling like a different bloke.
We start with whatever cut you’re after. Skin fade, textured crop, mullet, something longer, whatever suits. Once the hair’s done, we move into the shave. Hot towels to open the pores, hot lather, a straight razor taking everything off smooth, then another hot towel and a cold towel to close it all back up. It’s not rushed. It’s not something we squeeze in. It’s the main event.
What’s Included?
The full haircut of your choice, plus the complete hot towel shave experience. Multiple hot towels, hot foam, straight razor shave, cold towel finish, and aftershave balm. About 60 minutes all up. Save a bit of cash whilst you’re at it too, it’s cheaper than booking them separately.

Book or Walk In
Book online through Vagaro and skip the wait, or just rock up. Walk ins are always welcome, but a booking guarantees your spot. We’ll sort you out either way.
What to Expect
A proper consultation before we touch a hair. Tell us what you’re after, show us a pic, or just ask our barbers what they reckon would suit you. Cold beer while you wait, good tunes, and zero pretension.
Getting to Buddy’s
We’re in Carlton, right near Melbourne Uni, RMIT, and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. If you know Good Measure coffee shop or Standing Room Carlton, you’re practically here.
Parking
Big concrete multi storey car park directly across the road. Can’t miss it. Plenty of on street parking around the area too, just keep an eye on the signs.
Public Transport
Tram routes 1, 6, and 8 all run down Swanston Street and through Carlton, dropping you pretty much at our door. If you’re coming by train, Melbourne Central or Parliament stations are a short walk or one tram stop away.
