Keep It Clean
Sometimes less is more. A head shave is one of those services that sounds simple but the difference between doing it yourself in the bathroom mirror and having a barber do it properly is night and day. We get the lines right, the blend into any remaining hair is seamless, and you leave with a hot towel finish that makes the whole thing feel like a proper experience.
What’s Included?
A full head shave with either clippers or foil shavers, whichever you prefer. We’ll clean up the neckline, sort the edges around the ears, and finish with a hot towel. Quick, clean, about 15-30 minutes. In and out.
Clippers or Foil Shavers?
Your call. Clippers give you that tight buzz, zero guard, still a tiny bit of texture to the touch. Foil shavers give you the full smooth finish, not a hair left standing. Both get the hot towel at the end. If you’re not sure, ask your barber and they’ll steer you right based on your head shape and skin type.
Zero Buzz
Clippers all over, no guard. The maintenance cut for blokes who keep it tight and come back every couple of weeks.
Foil Shaver Smooth
Foil shavers for that completely clean dome. Smooth to the touch, sharp as anything.
Thinning? Time to Commit.
If you’ve been holding on, this is your sign. Take it all off and own it. You’ll wish you did it sooner.
Add a Beard Trim
Pair it with a beard trim for $65 total and get the full dome and beard treatment in one go.
First Time?
Here’s everything you need to know before you swing by.
Book or Walk In
Book online through Vagaro and skip the wait, or just rock up. Walk ins are always welcome, but a booking guarantees your spot. We’ll sort you out either way.
What to Expect
A proper consultation before we touch a hair. Tell us what you’re after, show us a pic, or just ask our barbers what they reckon would suit you. Cold beer while you wait, good tunes, and zero pretension.
Getting to Buddy’s
We’re in Carlton, right near Melbourne Uni, RMIT, and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. If you know Good Measure coffee shop or Standing Room Carlton, you’re practically here.
Parking
Big concrete multi storey car park directly across the road. Can’t miss it. Plenty of on street parking around the area too, just keep an eye on the signs.
Public Transport
Tram routes 1, 6, and 8 all run down Swanston Street and through Carlton, dropping you pretty much at our door. If you’re coming by train, Melbourne Central or Parliament stations are a short walk or one tram stop away.
